Position Summary Information

Job Summary

Coordinates the production of the University catalog with departments within the university. Updates and maintains course and program inventory within Banner, Catalog and the CourseLeaf Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) system.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

One year of related, full-time experience is considered equal to 30 accredited semester credit hours.

Three years of experience with educational or student information systems or related setting

Detailed Job Duties

Duties Performed

Coordinates the production of the University catalog with departments within the university. Edits the university catalog as prescribed by responsible departments for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in the catalog. Effectively communicates with stakeholders in order to meet deadlines for catalog submission.

Updates and maintains course and program inventory within Banner, Catalog and the CourseLeaf Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) system. Effectively communicates with faculty and staff in order to meet deadlines for catalog submission.

Facilitates the process of electronically entering curriculum into the CourseLeaf Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) system. Works collaboratively with all departments on campus in order to maintain accurate records.

Trains faculty and staff in the use of the electronic catalog and CourseLeaf Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) system.

Collaborates with other departments in order to maintain accurate program inventory websites.

Retains accurate electronic versions of curriculum inventory for institutional reference.

Coordinates the building and maintenance of class schedules each semester. Produces and distributes the schedule of classes including the collection and verification of schedule information from various departments/areas. Edits schedule and provides copies to each department, including deans, AVPSAS and VPAA, for constant proofing to insure university accuracy and compliance.

Utilizes Laserfiche as needed to scan and retain university and student records.

Assists with on-campus registration activities, such as student orientation (SOAR), and commencement activities as need.

Accepts and performs other duties as assigned by the University Registrar.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
