Job Summary

The College of Arts, Sciences and Education at Texas A&M University-Texarkana is currently seeking an outstanding candidate in Special Education.Responsibilities for the position:

Teach assigned undergraduate and graduate courses.

Assist with program development.

Perform scholarly activities.

Work collaboratively with faculty across disciplines.

Contribute to curriculum and course development.

Serve on department, college and university committees.

Serve on professional committees.

Major/Essential Duties of Job

Occasional Duties
Required Education and Experience

An earned doctorate in special education or related field from an accredited institution.

Eligible for teacher certification.

Experience in special education classrooms.

Preferred Education and Experience

Successful undergraduate/graduate teaching experience.

Experience with accreditation processes.

Experience with online instruction.

Experience in diverse instructional settings (environments, grade levels, etc.).

Accomplished in experiential learning.

Strong collaboration skills.
